Ride on lawnmowers - residential, commercial or Industrial
Ride on lawn mowers have been around for a long time. I remember when I was a kid and we moved to a new place that was in the acreage of the suburbs. Being so young at the time, I think that memory she was about 10 years old to see this great new ride on mower was great.
From that day to have my first go never have looked back. When you live in the city and it has a small block really does not need a great machine. But when you begin to move in the country or have a House with a huge block of land with some acreage, then definitely you will need to have a ride.
So what you get? There are quite a few different types, or should we say styles of ride on mowers available on the market today. The most basic and cheap on the mower walk can be purchased at places such as Wal-Mart or Bunnings. These machines are usually at the lower end of the quality scale and if you don't have much grass to take care of these will hold quite well. But on the other hand if you have a fair bit more grass to mow, or if you have to do it every weekend you will need a better machine.
I think it would be the next step above residential machine into the team of the commercial range. Not only the quality increases here but also the style of the machine, you have more options.
So now you can start looking at what is called zero turn mower. These units are my personal favourite because it is fun to drive and really can cut down the grass much faster than the standard zero-turn mower.
The main common to hear is the machine that has the two deserters that you expect that you can redirect the machine left or right. These are more or less like tank army controls or controls of type skid steer bobcat.
To make the cutter forward you would boost both sticks together at the same time. And then to move it back you would them back together at the same time. Turn left or right means that you have to push a stick and a stick forward back.
These machines I'm talking about now usually have the cutting deck under your seat or outside beneath your feet. Also only there will be two main drivers of the left side and one on the right side.
There is another type of zero mower of rotation that has a steering wheel, an example is one of the machines from Cub Cadet.
These machines have the ability to cut grass much more per hour per acre than your standard ride on mower. The ability to convert so sharply mean that you don't have to go forward, backwards, forwards, backwards to turn a corner.
These things simply follow any outline on the edges of garden or around any tree, taking into account the maximum cutting time or efficiency.
And finally, after the commercial range of lawn mowers is the industrial range. Here you step up again in the comfort and quality features. Very large cutting widths are available along with exceptional travel ground speed and cutting speed. The quality of construction of these units are the best of the best. They are literally designed to operate 24 hours a day on Earth. So if you have to cut on each day for the recruitment or you are owner of a National Park, these are the kind of machine you have to investigate.
There are so many different machines on the market today, how are you going to know what to get. Which models are large cutting widths? Which machines can cut grass more per hour? Well you can take a look at this web site ride on lawn mowers.
