What is the best lawn mower?
This is a question that asks for any homeowner with a lawn when he or she needs to buy a new mower. A question like this requires that certain information be collected to determine the best lawn mower for your situation. For example: how big is your lawn? How many times do you have to cut it? Is cutting only grass - no weeds or other plants demanding? How much space you have to store a mower? Can you store gas safely?
If you have a very small garden, perhaps an old-fashioned, push reel mower would do the work for you. These are hand - pushed you provide energy - and can do a good job and provide exercise. They are inexpensive, easy to maintain, easily stored and are quiet.
If you have a small garden, maybe an electric mower would be ideal. In this case don't have to worry about the storage of gas or probably the biggest problem faced by most owners of gas - from the mower mower. There are no problems with an electric starter, always and when connected, will work well. Higher voltages there are even Cordless electric mower and the battery available today (36 volts), they now have the power to cut as well as a gas mower. The electrics are clean - no smell gas or smoke, many owners say that they sound like vacuum cleaners, so they have a more acceptable level of noise. Most electrics well fold for easy storage. And you don't have to handle gasoline smell of gas will never be in your hands.
If you have a larger garden say up to a 1/4 of an acre, an electric could cut it if it is a well-kept lawn. If you have some problem areas with weeds, maybe you should consider a gas lawn mower. These require appropriate storage such as a garage or a building out. You will be so stored gasoline make sure that you have the appropriate containers and that they are hermetically sealed.
Lawns over a quarter-acre, the best mower would probably be a ride on the lawn mower if you do not want to spend much time walking with a push mower. Riding mowers come in a variety of sizes and in the belly of the beast are the mower blades. Some leaves can cut a 52 inch wide path, so the cut of an acre is made an hour.
Mowers riding many have accessories that can be purchased as plows snow, snow thrower, aeration of the lawn, etc. So maybe considered as (small) tractors.
Determine which is the best lawn mower for you begins with the amount of work or the size of the lawn you need to cut. There are many options in terms of lawn mowers and there is no need to buy one that is too much for your situation. Simpler is better.
